But the fire kept
the cold, damp and bears away. Initially there was
some thought that with all the young kids around
that like to play with fire, that with the energy of
youth would keep the fire going. However they had
little chance as a couple of older kids piled logs
on high, built edifices and towers and generally
manages the fire with everything but a formal
Hecatomb.

morning the day began as usual, the sun came up -
the den site was slowly deserted, the ashes of last
nights celebration cooled and the wisps of smolder
drifted to be lost in the gray sky
