Here begins an
account of the unusual circumstances which occurred
during or about the Month of May, many millions of
years after dinosaurs roamed the earth and 20 or so
thousand years after Columbian Mammoths stepped in a
mud puddle. As usual, events reported herein are
somewhat truthful.
A complete
written report will be forthcoming, some time in the
next several months, for the nonce, however, only a
pictorial record of the above mentioned events will
be presented, in some rough semblance of order, with no
comments, unless, of course, I can't resist.
To avoid
incredible boredom only a sampling of
the over 900 pictures taken
are presented in the following categories/links.
Thus you may choose your own experiences to
review. If
any classmates would like all pictures of their
experience, no matter how poor, please give a holler.
On the way West the
unmentionable happened and I had to leave my rig at
Pierre, SD for repair and continue in a rented 4
wheeled vehicle - bummer!!!

area: hot springs, buffalo, mesas to climb, canyons
to explore and other such stuff consisting of rocks,
trees, sky and water.
Leaving
Thermopolis, I returned to Pierre, South Dakota to
pick up the rig rather than visiting old George
Armstrong up the Little Bighorn way.

to get to Hot Springs, South Dakota early and spend
a week touring the Black Hills and Custer Park
before the beginning of the next Elderhostel event
at The Mammoth Site.

110 MSNBC and Weather Channel tornado chasers
appeared at the motel our last evening in Hot

Finally, the
reporting of this adventure has been somewhat
fragmented due to circumstances beyond ones control.
For a review of such fragmented reporting one may go

gleaming head.
