Chunnel to Isle Royale

While air and sea are the usual modes of transport to Isle Royale, for those who/whom (?) may suffer of mal de mar,  an alternative may be explored.  Here feet remain firmly planted underground and the only motion may be of a sleight swaying by  the slow and somewhat primitive conveyances

One does fervently hope the rusty strips holding the ceiling up and the walls apart have not lost their strength. However, to be on the safe side, bring your own pick and shovel as you may have to dig the last few feet to get to the Island.

Kayaks and Paddlers

Tim, our leader, delivers a Christmas tree load of kayaks for loading

A gathering of voyagers receiving a briefing on local enemy submarine, Somali pirate and Lake Superior Great White Squid activity. Hopefully someone will either raise the bridge or lower the river.
