Right outside the cabin door, 2 Old Faithfuls.

Yellowstone Falls, upstream and the view downstream. We all live down stream from someone, unfortunately, in my case it be Mike and Kevin.

Ahoy Skipper, movement dead ahead.!!!

A couple of trucks with trailers in the opposing lane, me a much smaller motorbiker with a sidecar, alone in my lane and in between a gaggle, pride, murder, flock or whatever of buffalos, being pushed my way by the opposing traffic.

--- and they come closer, ever closer. The anxiety riseth as one notes that there are several cubs, fledglings, calves or whatever within the pod.
As can see during retreat, have changed lanes to keep distance. Thought about "standing fast" and letting them move around and and past me, but then considered unpredictability of young'uns. Given firm belief that humanoids between the ages of 13 and 19 (or so) are aliens from a far and distant planet, thought this might also apply to teenage buffalos. Given severe allergy (to pain), phobia of seeing (my own) blood and religious preference (practicing devout coward), elected to retreat until  traffic behind me encouraged buffalos to move off road, as had to go through, more than a motorbike, albeit, with sidecar.

And so as the sun sinks slowly into the ocean we regretfully leave the isles. Looking forward to the future and new adventures, while reflecting upon what has been.

Some cities have rat or dog poop problems here we have elk and elk poop.

On to Bozeman to visit a fellow Virago rider met on the internet, Colin and his family. Arrived Saturday afternoon an tire gave out. No tires available or shops open till Tuesday so Colin was kind enough to chauffeur me about so could continue gawking tourist role. Absolutely enjoyed time spent with this delightful family, in addition to excellent food.

Found an absolutely great Yamaha dealer, who also was sidecar familiar, he used to handle Urals. This is a view from Cliff's office, some have executive bathrooms, he has his private shop, which houses a Bonneville land speed record motorbike.  Enjoyed, meeting and chatting with Cliff.

Tire replaced and this road weary rider headed home, not stopping to gawk or take pictures, 667 was enuff, at leas till next time

The End.
